Breathwork to Release Anger

Anger, if suppressed or unprocessed, can become trapped within the body, leading to tension, stress and even illness.

Breathwork creates a pathway for anger and other stagnant emotions to surface and be released.

breathwork to release anger

In our session today, allow yourself to feel your emotions so that you can let go of all that is weighing you down. ✨

Props needed: small towel

Instructions

  • Find a comfortable seated position with the spine straight.

  • Take a full breath in through the nose - the belly and chest expand outward

  • Purse your lips like a beak. Exhale out, while pulling the towel in the opposite direction.

  • Take a moment to relax and reset.

  • Repeat this sequence for as long as comfortable.

Notes

  • Careful not to clench the jaw

  • When it feels enough, return to your natural way of breathing
